Neuro-Integration Program provides early access to data-driven gait analysis and lays the groundwork for future powered mobility care
Cambridge, MA – Feb 1, 2026 – REEV announced the launch of the REEV Neuro-Integration Program, an initiative formed through partnerships with leading Stroke Centers of Excellence. Two nationally recognized organizations have already joined the program, and discussions with additional stroke centers are currently underway.
The Neuro-Integration Program is designed to lay the clinical and operational groundwork for the future introduction of DREEVEN, REEV’s intelligent robotic knee brace, which is currently undergoing studies at Boston University. By establishing partnerships ahead of regulatory clearance, REEV aims to ensure that when DREEVEN becomes available, it can reach the patients who can benefit from it most. Early investigational studies and patient feedback suggest the potential to support safer walking and greater participation in meaningful daily activities.
Building Readiness Through Data-Driven Clinical Integration
As part of the Neuro-Integration Program, partner clinics receive SENSE, REEV’s FDA-cleared and HIPAA-compliant gait analysis system for full integration into their neuro-rehabilitation programs. SENSE provides fast, accurate gait analysis and comprehensive, objective gait metrics to guide rehabilitation. The objective gait data gathered can also streamline documentation and reimbursement efforts by quantifying deficits and progress.
In a clinical validation study conducted at MIT, REEV SENSE demonstrated an average precision of 95% compared to motion capture (MoCap) labs, supporting its use as a practical alternative to traditional gait labs.
During an investigative study conducted at Boston University among post-stroke ‘emerging ambulators’, safety validation was completed among 10 post-stroke participants during activities such as walking, sit-to-stand transfers, and stairs.
Identifying the Right Patients for Powered Mobility Assistance
As clinics use SENSE to support therapy and gait re-training, they can identify patients with specific gait patterns and persistent deficits post-stroke – particularly patients whose recovery has plateaued. SENSE captures a patient’s unique ‘gait signature,’ reflecting their individual biomechanics, compensations, and functional limitations.
This gait signature identifies which patients could benefit most from DREEVEN, once cleared. By syncing powered support with a patient’s specific movement patterns, REEV aims to provide individualized assistance that complements clinical care and supports safer, more efficient walking in daily life.
A Pre-Launch Partnership Model Focused on Patient Access
The REEV Neuro-Integration Program reflects a shared commitment between REEV and leading stroke rehabilitation programs to maximize functional outcomes and quality of life for patients affected by stroke and other neurological impairments. In addition to access to SENSE, the Neuro-Integration Program members will be positioned for clinical access to DREEVEN following FDA clearance.
Physical therapists can use SENSE for gait analysis and identification of patients who may benefit from DREEVEN, and they will receive training and implementation support to ensure thoughtful adoption of both technologies within their existing workflows.
“We are proud to work alongside leading rehabilitation teams with a shared focus on improving gait and quality of life after stroke. Results from early investigational studies and patient feedback have been promising, and pending FDA clearance, we look forward to introducing DREEVEN through our Neuro-Integration Program.”
